Lyophilization Chambers

Produce Vacuum Chambers
Pre-cooling rapidly lowers the temperature of freshly harvested produce. A produce vacuum chamber creates an air chill, that quickly (30 minutes) removes field heat chilling postharvest produce to minimize spoilage during shipment to market.
Vegetable/Fruit Hydro Coolers
In hydrocooling, cold water is used to pre-cool produce. This method of pre-cooling is faster than forced air cooling because water is in direct contact with the produce has a higher heat removal capacity than air.
Pressure Cooler Fans
Forced air cooling is used mainly for bulk produce and palletized produce. Chilled air is forced to flow around each piece of produce. This close contact of chilled air with the produce results in rapid, even cooling throughout the mass of produce. It is the most versatile and widely used of all cooling methods.
Protable Blast Freezers
A mobile freezing unit designed to rapidly freeze meat, prepared foods and other products for maximum quality preservation.
Banana Ripening Rooms
Bananas produce large quantities of heat when they are ripening. Pressurized ripening rooms accurately control uniform pulp temperatures throughout the room for even ripening. The refrigerated air in the room must circulate at all times and uniformly throughout the load.
Custom Air Handlers
Building air management. We offer custom air handlers with a tremendous variety of options—including 100 percent outside air units (without energy recovery), energy recovery units, rooftop units, gas heating, indirect and direct evaporative cooling, chilled water and DX cooling, packaged refrigeration, UL listed electric heat, all aluminum units or other special casing construction and sectionalized equipment.
Specialized Make-up Air Units
Make up air units (also referred to as Air Tempering Units or Duct Heaters) are integral to maintaining good indoor air quality in schools, medical facilities, apartment buildings, and restaurants. By helping to maintain the proper air pressure balance between rooms, you can keep unit or cooking odors from reaching hallways or dining areas.
Environmental Chambers
These test chambers are designed to accurately produce those temperature and humidity conditions required for applications such as stability studies, package testing, TAPPI, MIL-SPEC, and vapor transmission. Applications are found in such diverse industries as pharmaceutical development and manufacturing, electronic components, food, semiconductor, paper and pulp, and wherever precise humidity and temperature replications are required.
Film Production Props
On more than one occasion, we have created temporary ice floors in warehouse movie studios and low temperature filming rooms for movie production.
